Our family tradition is back! The Holiday Peppermint Pops will be in Kiln, MS at the Hancock Performing Arts Center! We’re excited to have Hand bell soloist, Danny Lyons joining the Orchestra this year! The Youth Orchestra again will be on stage with our professional orchestra as they play our holiday favorites! Come join us, sing along and kick off the holiday season with us!

This program explores the depth of the string orchestra literature, from Mozart's delightful Eine Kleine Nachtmusik to Mahler's probing Adagietto. Copland's Clarinet Concerto is both achingly sublime and full of sass. It's a dazzling tour de force for GCSO Principal Clarinetist J.C. Barker.

Classical guitar takes center stage in the exquisite acoustics of First Methodist. Rodrigo's Concierto de Aranjuez, with its famous 2nd movement, has become synonymous with soulful Spanish music. A playful symphony by Prokofiev and a youthful masterpiece from Beethoven frame this delightful evening.
