Symphony Guild
The Gulf Coast Symphony Orchestra Guild is made up of individuals who enjoy and support the Symphony and it's musical contribution to the Gulf Coast. We welcome new members to join us through yearly dues, becoming a Symphony season ticket holder and/or contributing to the Symphony's annual fund.
The Guild's mission is to promote community understanding and support of the Symphony Orchestra as a vital, essential and cultural asset; to actively participate in membership drives; to raise money to support the Orchestra; and to provide services as requested by the Symphony Board in connection with concerts and related activities.
Meetings are held the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 am rotating to member's homes and other coastal locations from Pascagoula to Bay St. Louis. We enjoy socializing and refreshments along with interesting musical programs and a short business meeting.
The Guild has planned a busy year with special activities. November 30 we will sponsor "A Symphony of Lights", a candlelight tour of the Enclave. This tour will offer a chance to see the seasonal lights in this lovely subdivision as they are turned on for the first time. We will tour four decorated homes and enjoy music along the way.
In the spring, the Guild will again partner with the Board of Directors in presenting the "18th Annual Barbeque Under the Oaks" March 25, 2006. We hope that you will join us for these special functions.
Guests are always welcome at our meetings and music enthusiasts are invited to join the Guild in its efforts to support excellence in music. For additional information, call me at 863-5608 or the Symphony office at 435-9800.
