Hear it Live!

A Word From The Conductor

Our 50th Anniversary. What a milestone!

John W. Strickler

As we celebrate our golden anniversary, we shine the spotlight on the talented musicians that comprise the Gulf Coast Symphony as we bring you some of the best music ever written. From Mussorgsky's ever popular Pictures at an Exhibition to the other-worldly The Planets by Gustav Holst, each program is guaranteed to leave you wanting more.

We'll kick off the celebration with a special gala featuring the incomparable Ronnie Kole. Then throughout the season, we'll feature works by several composers observing significant birthdays, and we pay tribute to various outstanding Coastal arts organizations for their important cultural contributions.

In March, you'll want to get out your bobby socks and saddle shoes for a fun filled evening of classic rock-n-roll when the orchestra cuts loose with Flash Cadillac. Dust off those poodle skirts ladies!

Great music, great performers, great fun!

Join us as we celebrate this special season.

John W. Strickler
Music Director and Conductor
